WOW, NOW THAT’S A BANNER!

April 4, 2017 by Sissi

So we decided it was time to step up our game and weren’t we lucky to find one of the best banner makers in the country.  New England Flag & Banner is one of the finest, here’s who they are:
New England Flag & Banner specializes in making custom, hand-sewn applique banners, flags, table drapes, and more. They are the largest company of its kind in the United States and the market leader. They’ve been in business since 1892, with a proven track record of high-quality craftsmanship and durability. Their Sewing and design are second to none, because they don’t make just banners – they make great banners! They make their appliqué banners, flags, and table drapes by layering different colored fabrics, from which their skilled seamstresses stitch and then cut your design. Some of the best-known examples of their work include the Celtics and Bruins championship and retirement banners. They have also created distinctive, colorful championship banners for elite colleges and universities such as the University of Kansas, the University of Michigan, Ohio State, Villanova, Oregon, Arkansas, University of North Carolina, University of California, and many more.In addition to their work for professional, collegiate, and high school athletics programs, they create classic hand-sewn banners, flags, and table drapes for companies like the Ritz-Carlton and Fidelity Investments. They also offer high-quality U.S., state, and foreign flags, all made in the U.S.A.

Now that’s an impressive bio!

This banner is all wool; the pictures don’t begin to show how beautifully made it is!  Lucky for us they took some pictures during the process of making it.

Look at how they hand basted all the pieces to get everything just right.

In this picture, you can see the fox and our very cool font being added.

Working hard with our logo!

Not too shabby, considering she started as a bunch of wool pieces.

Our cheeky fox running along.

Putting on the finishing touches!

We want to send a HUUUUUGE thank you to Ned Flynn President of New England Flag and Banner for taking this on.

Next time you see us at an event, make sure you check this out up close.  If you want to have one made for your business or barn head over to https://www.newenglandflagandbanner.com and tell them that we sent you.  You’ll  be amazed at what you get, we pinky swear! XO
