I’ve noticed lately that lots of Hunts are having their Balls as the season is ending. I thought it would be fun to bring you all along to our Ball.
The night started out with a fun cocktail hour reconnecting with fellow foxhunters that had come from all over the North East. It was, after all, The New England Hunt Ball. After having a few cocktails, the party moved into the newly renovated Ballroom where one of our Joint Masters got us going with the good old Myopia Toast. As you will hear in the video, it took us a little while to get it going. Perhaps we should recite the toast before we start to drink!
After Dinner things got a little crazy, our felt fox friends turned into party animals! They were photo bombing, dancing, drinking and doing some things we can’t even talk about. Compared to them, we were all pretty well behaved. There was only one ambulance called, and no one was crying.
Oh Dear, the more we all drank, the crazier they got!
My very patient and dashing Husband, Mr. Finn.
Like I said, we were all pretty well behaved compared to our Fox friends (at least that’s our story, cause what happens at Hunt Ball stays at Hunt Ball). The food, drink and company were all great, and we danced the night away with the fabulous band “Booty Vortex”! What do you love most about your Hunt Ball, we wanna know!
