LET ME JUST GET TO THE POINT, THE POINT-TO-POINT THAT IS!

Here we go again!  When we signed on for our first race in the series we had no idea what was to come.  There are three races in the series; the first was the Mrs. Miles B. Valentine Sidesaddle race at the Cheshire Point-to-Point in Pennsylvania. The second is next weekend on the 17th in Virginia, and that race is the Mrs. George C. Everhart Memorial Sidesaddle Race being held at the Loudoun Hunt Point-to-Point at the Oatlands Plantation.  http://bit.ly/1SGpYAK   The third is being held at the Kentucky Horse Park (OMG, we are going to the KHP, so exciting!) This will be the 1st running of the  High Hope Ladies Sidesaddle race at The High Hope Steeplechase on May 22nd.  At the end of the race series in August we will be heading back to Virginia where there will be an overall championship awarded to honor the season’s high point ladies side saddle rider. Chasing a Fox and our good friends from Middy n’ Me are doing a lot of traveling, but such an honor and sooooo much fun!  Don’t worry we’re going to take you all along for the ride!

Quite a few of the ladies are riding in all three races, but we will be blogging about all the additions that are joining the race card next weekend.  There are two races a flat race and a race over fences.

This is the forecast for our trip, we fly in on Thursday and back home on Monday.  We think Mother Nature is smiling down on this race!
